Leaders in Training

For teens ages 15 - 17
This program was developed for teens who have an interest expanding their leadership abilities. Each LIT will learn leadership skills and assist counselors and other camp staff in providing a caring and exciting experience for the youth at YMCA Triangle Y Ranch. Cost will be $225 for YMCA Facility members and $250 for Program members for the one week session.
Interested teens must fill out a registration form. LIT sessions are one week in length, and are available throughout the summer camp season. Spaces are limited to sixteen LIT's in each session. LIT's will only be able to attend one session during the summer.

Counselors/Wranglers in Training

For teens ages 16 - 17
This program is designed for those teens that have completed the Leaders in Training program. Each Counselor in Training program will be two weeks in length. The teens will enhance their leadership abilities while helping the counselors and program staff. Cost will be $225.00 for YMCA Facility members and $250 for Program members for the two week session. Interested teens must fill out an application and include three references to be considered for the program. CIT/WIT sessions are two weeks in length, and are available throughout the summer camp season. Applications are accepted after January 3rd for the following summer. Space in the CIT/WIT program is limited to eight per session, so early applications are recommended.
