Adult Only Sessions
Skaters must be members or purchase a Skate Park Monthly Pass and participants must be 18 or older. Full pads are required with helmet. Adult sessions do not have attendant scheduled and requires a 'buddy system' (minimum of two adult skaters) to get help in case of an emergency. Adult only sessions are held on Sundays from 9am - 12noon.
Helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads are required by ALL skaters at ALL times. All participants must sign a liability waiver before using the park. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/legal guardian sign this document before using the park.
Fees
Use of the skate park for YMCA members is free. For membership rates click here. Non-members can purchase a day pass for $8.50 (under 18) or $10 for an adult 18 & over. A day pass allows entrance to the skate park and all YMCA facilities. A Monthly Pass is also available for $20.00, and is good for 30 days from the date of purchase. Monthly Passes are strictly for skate park use only, and do not permit use of additional YMCA facilities.
Late Skate
The first and last Saturday of each month the Skate Park will remain open after YMCA operation hours. The park will be open from 6:00pm -10:00pm. There is a $2.00 admission to any non-facility or monthly skate pass holder. The park will be open from the north gate.
Skateboarding Lessons
For boys and girls ages 6 and up, this class includes lessons on the basics of safety, board maintenance, basic moves and skills, and the YMCA character values. Classes are held from 8:30am - 10am on Saturday mornings, and cost $30 for Facility Members or $45 for Program Members.
