The YMCA of Metropolitan Tucson is made up of five neighborhood branches, the Triangle Y Ranch in Oracle, Arizona and
more than 10 program sites located throughout Tucson.
Tucson YMCAs build healthy spirit, mind and body for 50,768 facility and program members in 63 programs.
Programs offered include childcare, youth sports, swimming, camping, health and wellness, teen leadership, and family time.
The YMCA nationally, is the largest licensed childcare provider. This is true for Tucson as well.
Your YMCA is responsible for securing locally its entire budget. The annual operating budget is $9.6 million.
In 2004, nearly $770,000 in financial assistance was awarded to 12,443 local youth and families who wanted to participate in Y programs but couldn’t afford the fees.
Each year, nearly 10,200 children participate in our infant, preschool, school age, summer day camp and residential camp programs citywide.
The YMCA of Metropolitan Tucson pledges that “based upon available resources, no child will be turned away due to an inability to pay a fee.”
